Leveling kits and performance lift kits for diesel trucks in Houston. Cummins, Duramax, and Power Stroke platforms — 2-inch leveling to 4-inch performance suspension. Aligned and verified after every install.
Heavy-duty diesel trucks — Ram 2500, Silverado 2500, F-250 — are not the same as half-ton trucks. They carry more weight, tow significant loads, and the suspension geometry changes differently under lift. A 2-inch leveling kit on a Ram 2500 that's going to pull a 15,000-pound gooseneck has different requirements than the same kit on a daily-driven commuter. We scope the suspension work around what the truck does.
Alignment after every suspension install is not optional — it's part of every job we do. We also don't recommend lift heights that create drivetrain geometry problems without addressing those problems as part of the install. See differential and axle upgrades for lifted trucks when the drivetrain needs to account for the added suspension height.
After the suspension is set and aligned, wheels and tires are the next step — and the wheel and tire selection is part of the lift consultation, not an afterthought.
The right suspension upgrade depends on the platform, the use case, and the tire size target. We discuss all three at the consultation before any parts are ordered. The options below are the common paths on diesel platforms — your truck may have a different right answer.
Removes the factory nose-down stance and opens up the front wheel well for 35-inch tires on most platforms. Spacer or strut-based leveling depending on the platform. Alignment mandatory after install. Common on Ram 2500, F-250, and Silverado 2500 trucks that tow regularly and want a leveled stance without changing drivetrain geometry.
The most popular suspension upgrade on diesel performance trucks. Three inches of lift opens room for 35–37-inch tires with proper offset wheels. Lift kit components: upper control arms on platforms that require them, coil spacers or lift struts front, add-a-leaf or block rear. How we plan a suspension build is part of the full build process conversation.
Four-inch lifts on diesel trucks require more attention to drivetrain geometry — CV joint angles, front axle stress, and driveshaft clearance all need to be addressed correctly. Upper control arms are mandatory on most platforms at 4 inches. Differential and axle upgrades are a common companion at this height. Opens room for 37–38-inch tires depending on the platform.
The Ram 2500 and 3500 run coil springs up front on most configurations, which provides a cleaner lift path than the torsion-bar or coilover platforms. Leveling kits and 3-inch lifts are well-supported. The rear leaf spring pack is a known variable — add-a-leaf or replacement pack depending on load requirements. Ram 2500 lift and leveling is part of the full Cummins build conversation.
LBZ-era Silverado and Sierra trucks run torsion bars up front that can be cranked before adding lift components. Later platforms moved to coilover configurations. Either way, the Duramax platforms respond well to leveling and 3-inch lifts. Silverado 2500 lift and leveling discussed as part of the Duramax build plan.
The Super Duty F-250 and F-350 run a twin I-beam solid front axle configuration that has specific geometry considerations under lift. Leveling kits are straightforward. Three-inch lifts benefit from upper control arm upgrades to maintain correct geometry. At 4 inches, UCAs and geometry correction are mandatory, not optional.
Every lift kit and leveling kit install at our shop includes a full alignment after the install. A diesel truck that hauls and tows with incorrect alignment after a suspension change will eat tires and wear front-end components faster than a stock truck. We don't hand trucks back without checking the alignment.
