The Fort Bend Tollway and Beltway 8 put Missouri City owners on our Westheimer Road doorstep. Cummins, Power Stroke and Duramax tuning, fuel and transmission work, with every calibration finished on the dyno.
Missouri City owners have a head start on most of our other suburbs: the Fort Bend Tollway connects Beltway 8 to SH 6, and from there we are a short run away. Here is why they make it.
The shop is at 8840 Westheimer Rd, Houston, and none of this needs a day of driving to reach.
Missouri City trucks lean toward the everyday: heavy-duty pickups that handle school runs and commutes, then hitch up for a weekend trailer. The upgrades that suit that mix are usually the quiet ones.
A well-built ECM tune comes first, because it improves how the truck drives all week. After that, the fuel system gets attention if you plan more power, and the transmission if the trailer gets heavier. Cooling work sits underneath all of it.
We will not tell you a truck needs the full list. We will tell you which one item makes the biggest difference for what you do.

Missouri City is a patchwork of highways: US 90A across the north, SH 6 through the south and the Fort Bend Tollway running up the east side.
That patchwork turns daily driving into a lot of short hops between lights, and then a quick burst on the tollway or on SH 6 when traffic clears. For a diesel, it means little time at steady temperature and repeated hard acceleration from a stop, which is exactly when a tune can feel harsh or a transmission can feel indecisive.
We tune for that. The aim is a truck that pulls away smoothly from a light on SH 6 and still has the headroom for a trailer on the weekend. We would rather ask how you drive than assume.
Heat is the other constant. A black truck in a parking lot in July heats everything under the hood, and cooling margins matter more than a spec sheet suggests.

Missouri City sits between Sugar Land and the Houston city line, which makes it one of the shorter drives on our list. Pick another city below to compare.
It is a convenient link from SH 6 to Beltway 8, and it keeps you away from some of the congestion on US 59. It is tolled, so it comes down to whether the saved minutes matter on the day. Outside rush hour the drive is roughly 30–40 minutes either way.
Yes. Stop-and-go driving between lights is what exposes a harsh tune or an indecisive transmission. We calibrate for how you drive, so the truck pulls away cleanly and still has headroom when you tow.
The Fort Bend Tollway starts at SH 6 and Sienna Parkway and runs north to Beltway 8, so you can join it quickly. From Beltway 8 the rest of the route is the same as from anywhere else in Missouri City.
No. We build tuning, fuel systems, turbos, transmissions, cooling, lifts, and wheels and tires for Cummins, Power Stroke and Duramax trucks. Most jobs start with a conversation about which of those will help.
Short drive, real consultation. Pick a time below and tell us what the truck does all week. We will take it from there.
"They pulled my truck three times to get the tune dialed. Never had a shop do that."
